poster - draft 2

Here is my second draft for the music poster.

In order to improve this, I think I will need to add more information and maybe more colour. It is important for the music poster to stand out so that the audience whom it is aimed at is aware of tour dates etc.



Poster - draft 1

This is the first draft of my poster. I think it is important to have the band's name in bold lettering so that it stands out, so that the audience know straight away who the tour dates are for etc. However, to improve this the lettering of the dates and venue's need to be bigger so that it is more clear to the audience.

Final draft - back of album cover

This is the final product for the back of my album cover. I have kept it simple and quite conventional. And the number five faded in the background shows the continuous link to the song choice and therefore, obviously the band.

Back Of Cover - second draft

This is my second draft of the back of my album cover. It has the basics of what any conventional album would have, however, I think I need to add details of the band 'Noah And The Whale' for example, their website.

Back Of Cover - First Draft

The back of the cover is very simple and has a continuous link to the front of the cover. I need to add on a barcode.

Final CD Cover

I have decided to go with the original idea for the Cd Cover. I think it is effective and quite simplistic and matches the genre of my music video; anaimation.

Here I have moved the text from the side to the bottom of the cover, however, I will not use this for my final product.

cd cover - third draft

This is my third draft of my front cd cover. I have put the lyrics from the song that I have chosen to do, 5 years time. This therefore, shows the link between the front of the cd cover and the actual song. I will experiement with the layour of the words fun, love and sun to see which looks best.

album cover - second draft

Here is my second draft of my album cover. I think that the sentance underneath the band name gives the cover a really good effect. To improve further, I will need to put more detail or text or a picture so it doesnt look so bland.

Here is my first draft of my album cover, which I have started again. I wanted a more simplistic look and use more of a neutral colour scheme. However, this album cover looks too simple, and I think more text may need to be added in order to improve it.

Taking into consideration my target audience, and looking at how my products are developing, I dont quite think that the designs of my album cover fit the genre I have chosen or the target audience. The design of it looks quite childish and looks that is it aimed at a younger audience. To make it fit the genre and target audience, I will now look at designing a more simplistic yet sophisticted album cover, CD and poster. I will gather inspiration from more basic designs.
